Its
fortifications entirely occupy the summit of the hill that rises beside
the river at the intersection of the valley that leads to Folgaria. It
is the most extensive feudal fortified complex of non-urban origin ever
built in Trentino. |

Its size – 250 metres measured from end to end of the gigantic walls – is impressive, just like the atmosphere still detectable in its interior, throughout its communication trenches and courtyards.
